The Day I tried too Hard

Welcome to everyday

When I feel I’ve lost my ability
(If there ever was any) to be creative

When I don’t doubt if I’m doomed
I question if I can fool an audience
Into belief

I am a magician
Watch me pepper you with deceit:

My word waffle is climbing off of the ceiling
Peeling its lip from the grip of dried syrup

And you thought thought-bubbles looked like clouds?
